Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the GameWeek mobile app, operated by AJ Development ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use GameWeek.

What GameWeek is

GameWeek is a social football prediction game played in private leagues. It's for fun and bragging rights only — GameWeek is not a gambling or betting product, no money is staked and no prizes are awarded by us. Fixture and result data is provided by third-party sports-data services and may occasionally be delayed, corrected or unavailable; points are settled on the data we receive.

Your account

• You sign in with your email address using a one-time code. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use GameWeek.
• You're responsible for what you do with your account, including the display name you choose.

Acceptable use

Keep it friendly. You agree not to:

• use an offensive, impersonating or misleading display name;
• harass or abuse other players;
• attempt to cheat, exploit bugs, disrupt the service, or access it in an unauthorised way (including scraping or reverse-engineering our servers);
• use GameWeek for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Purchases

The app offers an optional one-time ad-free upgrade, purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Payment, billing and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. The upgrade applies to your GameWeek account on the platform you bought it on.

Content and leagues

League names, gameweek names and your predictions are visible to the members of your leagues. League admins choose which fixtures to include. We may remove content or leagues that violate the acceptable-use rules.

Availability and changes

GameWeek is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features (or the service) at any time. We may also update these terms — if the changes are material we'll let you know in the app, and continuing to use GameWeek after that means you accept them.

Termination

You can stop using GameWeek and delete your account at any time from the app's settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or where required by law.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of GameWeek, and our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
